First And Last

This is the first post I have written this year and probably will be my last for awhile. Here's why:

I HAVE A NEW JOB!! :-)

My new job is wonderful (so far...its only been four days! LOL) and I am learning a lot of information because I am in a higher position than I am used to and its a new company for me. So, a big chunk of my life is revolving around this new place right now. I want to give my all and maintain my high spirits & positivity so that I dont have a repeat of that last job (see: And Then The Bottom Fell Out...). I am determined to succeed here and advance as much as possible. Well, at least until my rich husband comes along to sweep me off my feet and into the life of a Real Housewife.

Also, I am still working on my Masters. Things got a little tough for a bit there but I pushed through it. Im still pushing through! I have a semester or two left before I will add Masters degree to my list of accomplishments. *pats self on back*

On top of that, I am helping my mom plan her wedding and my sister is convinced I am her personal seamstress/wardrobe stylist, so I am working on different "projects" for her.

So I am a busy, creative mess right now! LOL Once I get a hang of things and I am able to manage my life a little more I will be back!

So stay tuned for more of my life and its randomness! Also, read Philippians 4:13 and live by it! (Prayer works!)

My Resurrection

On March 19, 2017, I took a huge step in my spiritual journey. I walked into a baptism pool, lowered myself into the holy water, and allowed my mind, spirit, heart and body to be cleansed. I rose up from the water with a new outlook. I was ready to embark on the next steps of my journey as a baptized woman. A year later, I am reflecting upon the 365 plus days since my baptism and I am amazed by the growth I've experienced. Was the journey easy? Absolutely not. Was it easier to face the battles and adversity after renewing my relationship with God? Absolutely. I have constantly been reminded that God never said weapons wouldn't form. Holiday Fashion: Menswear

I usually don't pay much attention to men's fashion. Honestly, I thought it was dull. *shrugs*  However, recently someone asked me to help them with some menswear looks. I was hesitant at first, but then decided to do some research. It actually ended up taking up half of my day! I was excited by it! I was confused about where to start so I asked a male friend of mine (Thanks Josh!) for some suggestions and that ended up being a huge help. With his suggestions and some additional research on my own, I was able to put together about 10 or so looks. I looked at tons of retail websites, fashion magazine websites, and Googled images of celebrities.
